Kimi M. Ide-Foster

Ms. Ide-Foster joined Chun Kerr LLP in 2014 following a summer clerkship in 2013. She concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate, finance, and general business transactions while serving a diverse clientele that includes local and international developers, small businesses, financial institutions, churches and other non-profits. As lead counsel on a variety of projects, Ms. Ide-Foster is skilled at navigating complex legal matters for both small and large-scale ventures. Her guidance often extends beyond the closing of a transaction, offering valuable guidance on organizational structuring and the day-to-day aspects of business management. Recognized for her exceptional talents, Ms. Ide-Foster has earned the title of “Rising Star” by Hawaii Super Lawyers since 2020 and the National Association of Women Lawyers since 2022.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Ide-Foster’s passion lies in serving the local community. Using her position as a Firm Partner and proud ‘Iolani Alumna, she actively supports and advocates for underserved and underrepresented persons and communities in Hawai‘i.
