Community Service: Lanakila Meals On Wheels

On June 15th, ten members of Chun Kerr LLP arrived at Lanakila Meals On Wheels to give back to our community. In the course of a few hours, they packed over 1,000 meals, which will feed over 500 local kupuna for one-week! We are so thankful to those that gave of their time to this amazing nonprofit.

Lanakila Meals on Wheels began in in 1939 amidst the tuberculosis pandemic as a way to help members of the community recover and integrate back into everyday life. Since then, Lanakila has expanded and is the only organization that delivers meals island-wide. Each week, roughly 2,700 meals are packed and delivered by volunteers.
