Ms. Motooka is a recent graduate of the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law, and focuses her practice on real estate and finance, as well as business transactions and organizations. Prior to joining Chun Kerr LLP as an Associate, she externed with the Honorable R. Mark Browning, Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii, and with the Honorable Justice Sabrina S. McKenna of the Hawaii Supreme Court. She also worked with the Firm as a Summer Associate in 2024, where she assisted with a variety of real estate and corporate matters.

Ms. Motooka received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grades in Legal Research, Lawyering Fundamentals II, and Second Year Seminar, and held several leadership roles during law school including Chief Financial Officer of the Law and Business Organization, Secretary of Advocates for Public Interest Law, Teaching Assistant for Lawyering Fundamentals, and Casenote Editor and Staff Writer for the University of Hawaii Law Review. The combination of academic distinction, leadership experience, and strong legal research and writing skills provides a strong foundation to support client needs in Real Estate, Finance, and Business Transactions.
